Spicy Biryani MASALA (for 1 kg chicken/meat)

  • Oil: 1 cup
  • Tomatoes: 3 (250g)
  • Yogurt: 1 cup
  • Fried onions: 1 cup (80g)
  • Ginger garlic: 2 tbsp (30g)
  • Green chilies: 6
  • Mint: 1 cup
  • Adraaj Biryani Masala

DETAILED METHOD:

  1. Heat oil, fry onions golden (6 minutes).
  2. Add ginger garlic; fry 1 minute.
  3. Add chicken/meat and cook 10 minutes.
  4. Add tomatoes + yogurt + Adraaj Biryani Masala
  5. Cook 12–15 minutes until oil separates.
  6. Add mint, coriander, green chilies.
  7. Boil rice to 70% doneness.
  8. In pot: add 1 layer rice + 1 layer gravy.
  9. Repeat layers and top with fried onions.
  10. Steam: 20 minutes on low flame.
